HII - MDIS is currently seeking a Physical Security Specialist/Activity Security Manager to work at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
The need for a program office to manage the integration and support of the Virtual Test and Training Center (VTTC) operations, and execute the VTTC Concept of Operations (CONOPS) has become more evident as the VTTC standup gains more momentum to meet the training capability for the United States Air Force (USAF) Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) to train up to Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)/Special Access Required (SAR) classification level. AFLCMC/WNS has been tasked to take appropriate actions necessary to meet a long-term strategic goal of becoming the single program office with respect to integration and sustainment of the VTTC.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Design and construct SCI and SAP facilities.
Develop and report relevant metrics and information on facility security.
Recommend procedures and corrective measures to initiate when a security incident or vulnerability is discovered. Ensure that a process is in place for authorized users to report all security-related events and potential threats and vulnerabilities to the SSO
Develop and provide security training, guides, and instructions to increase awareness of assigned personnel of the changing IA environment.
Opening and closing secure areas.
Verifying visitor credentials via JADE and JPAS.
Maintain access control and alarm systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
3 years of physical security and/or construction security experience.
Demonstrable knowledge of S/SAP or TS/SAP facility accreditation.
Demonstrable knowledge of JSIG, ICD/ICS 705, and ICD 503.
Demonstrable knowledge of SCIF/SAPF design, construction, and control requirements.
Comprehensive knowledge of advanced program security to include SAP/SAR, the JSIG, Special Technical Operations, ICD 503, and Alternative Compensatory Control Measures security control requirements.
Knowledgeable on SCI Facility and SAP Facility design, construction, and control requirements.
Certified Facility Security Officer, Certified Personnel Security Professional, Certified Industrial Security Professional,
Master’s Homeland Security Credential
