HII – Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII – MDIS is currently seeking an Office 365 Engagement Engineer to work out of their Washington, DC office.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
We need professional problem solvers with exception customer service skills. We are looking for energetic, articulate, upbeat people who have the drive, creativity and commitment to assist our client deploy Office 365 Pro Plus, Skype For Business, OneDrive and Outlook. This is a customer-facing position that will require travel throughout the United States (for up to 80-100% of the time). Will also be required to train in DC for 2 weeks prior to beginning travel. Engagement management and strong customer service skills are a must!
Qualifications and Experience :
Manage project administrative activities of multiple simultaneous projects
Provide “white-glove” services while working directly with the court point of contact and IT Managers to schedule and execute all migration project activities
Provide internal and external project status reporting, ensuring all stakeholders receive the required level of detail.
Actively lead status meetings with the court and project teams.
Exceptional customer support and communication skills
Experience with Office 365 deployment and migration
Ability to solve problems quickly
Perform service administration and account maintenance
Act as the primary contact for service escalations and troubleshooting of issues
Resolve client connectivity, client software distribution, and mobile installation issues
Analyze Office 365 service reports, auditing log, and third party service reports
Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
Knowledge and experience troubleshooting a number of these platforms: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, SharePoint, Skype for Business, Mail-flow and Connectors, Outlook client configuration, Powershell, SMTP, SSL/TLS
Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of IT Experience are required.
Experience in managing and administering Office 365 (Office 365 ProPlus, user provisioning / de-provisioning, permissions, access, etc.)
Write and maintain custom PowerShell scripts to remediate any open issues to support users
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Office 365 is a plus
Prior experience with Lotus Notes and/or Lotus Notes to Exchange Migrations is a plus.
