Huntington Ingalls Industries Deputy Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Overview

Shall be responsible for management and oversight of all Contractor and subcontractor personnel and delivery of financial and staffing reports when the Contract PM is unavailable.

Responsibilities

  • Shall solicit and respond to Government feedback to improve contract performance and efficiency.

  • Shall take corrective action in response to Government feedback when performance standards are not met.

  • Shall fill vacancies in accordance with the qualifications of the PWS.

  • Helps the Government to define requirements, provides updates on Contractor efforts/workload, and assists the Government with resourcing and bandwidth decisions.

  • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Shall possess a minimum 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Education:

Must have a Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or have Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 2 years of related senior experience, for a total of 10 years, as a substitute to the

Master's degree.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly
