HII - Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII-MDIS is currently seeking a Facility Lead to provide direct support to the Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead. This includes establishment and operations of the lab facilities.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Support the government STAVE Facilities Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, including coordination of requirements and actions necessary to ensure government facilities are in place and operational
Generate, review and comment on facility plans, hardware procurement requirements, logistic documentation and risks associated with maintaining the labs.
Coordinate/Support procurement, configuration, installation and execution of the STAVE facilities
Establish persistent connections to STAVE using the Naval Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) as the transport
Coordinate/Conduct testing in accordance with approved procedures and document results to ensure full lab functionality
Define and document lab requirements including computing, power, HVAC, network(NCTE/TRANET), lighting
Qualifications and Experience:
Five (5) years of experience as a hardware lab manager.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and technically accurate manner.
Security+ 501 Certified
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or similar technical degree
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, writing, and interpersonal skills.
Innovative problem solving and debugging skills.
Familiar with NCTE operations and connectivity processes.
Capacity to prioritize tasks through self-directed time management and organization.
Experience working with DoN/DoD customers, projects, and processes.
Working knowledge of Microsoft WORD, POWERPOINT and EXCEL.
Must possess an active or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
