HII-Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) is currently seeking a Cisco VOIP Analyst to work out of their San Antonio, TX office.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Analyze, isolate, and resolve Cisco VOIP system problems. This includes but is not limited to technical, procedural, operational, and functional issues

  • Assist staff with Cisco devices

  • Maintain an on-line log of support requests and related resolution activity of service desk requests received from staff

  • Independent problem solver with troubleshooting, decision making and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to nontechnical audience on technical issues

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate on a technical level to a technical audience

  • Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call.

  • Ability to do limited travel (0 - 4 times a year).

Qualifications and Experience :

Required –

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager v10+ Configuration and Troubleshooting

  • Cisco IP Phone Configuration and Troubleshooting

  • Analysis and Diagnosis of Complex Voice and Data Networking

  • Cisco Unity Voicemail v10+ Configuration and Troubleshooting

  • Understanding of voice technologies and protocols

  • Experience in Networking and Telephony Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting

  • Help desk experience

Preferred –

  • Experience Using Cisco Prime Collaboration (CPC) v10+

  • Cisco Unified Contact Center Express v10+ Configuration and Troubleshooting

  • Experience in Video Bridging Technologies and Audio Visual Installations

  • Hands on Experience Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting Polycom/Cisco/LifeSize VTC Systems

  • Experience in routing/switching background and hands-on repair/support experience with Unified Communications technology in general, and Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) and (UCCX)

  • Experience in H.323, SIP, H.320 Standards and Operations

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

  • Audio or Video Certifications, CCNA Collaboration

  • Knowledge of Cisco Agent Desktop, Supervisor Desktop and Reporting

  • Experience in Configuring Smart Phones and Tablets

Education :

  • Associate’s degree and four (4) years’ IT experience
