HII-MDIS is currently seeking National Support Desk Analysts to work out of their San Antonio, TX location supporting the Administrative Office of the US Courts.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Analyze, isolate, and resolve federal courts’ systems problems. This includes but is not limited to technical, procedural, operational, and functional issues
Assist court staff with applications utilized within the court unit
Maintain an online log of support requests and related resolution activity of help desk requests received from court staff
Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of six (6) years’ of IT experience
Background should include:
Experience supporting Windows or Linux workstations/applications
Prior help desk experience with excellent customer service skills
Project management skills
Utilizing SQL queries for database support/troubleshooting
Problem solver with troubleshooting, decision making and analytical skills
Able to work and interact with others in a structured / team environment
Flexibility and adaptability to handle competing work demands
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate to nontechnical audiences on technical issues
Demonstrated ability to communicate on a technical level to technical audiences
Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call
Ability to do limited travel (0-4 times a year)
Hardware support skills
Report Writing (SQL Server, Crystal, Business Objects)
Application-specific experience (CM/ECF, Case Management System)
