Huntington Ingalls Industries is seeking a Weapoons Technical Intelligence (WTI) Exploitation Analyst to support our customer.
HII's WTI Intelligence Team is growing at a major DoD Joint Agency Supporting CWMD's and CIED's globally. We have an immediate opportunity for a WTI Exploitation Analyst to work in the Northern Virginia Area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a WTI analyst who has tactical and operational Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) experience and the unique ability to support exploitation efforts worldwide. The qualified candidate will be creative, resourceful, and enjoy coaching all levels of military personnel or contractors.
The WTI exploitation analyst will provide EOD subject matter expertise to the counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED) and counter-improvised threat community including analysts, operators, military units and other organizations involved in the C-IED fight. The exploitation analyst filling this position will be responsible for providing analytical support to WTI doctrine, TTP and task organization and may be called upon to support the exploitation of CEM in support of Combatant Commands and their conventional and special operations forces; NATO and Coalition forces; Interagency partners; and Other Government agencies as requested.
Provide subject Matter Expertise (SME) to support the counter-improvised explosive deivce and counter improvised threat community.
Provide analytic support to Weapons Technical Intelligeence (WTI) doctrine, TTP and task organization.
Monitor and assess tactical characteristics and technical categorizations of iEDs and improvised threats globally.
Participate in customer requirements development and documentation processes.
Provide support to working groups as directed by the customer.
Conduct C-IED all source analysis with a focus on threat devices.
Respond to internal tasking and analysis as directed.
May be required to support CCMDs in exploitation of CEM, to include Continental United States (CONUS) or Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) sites, including hazardous duty areas.
Comply with Foreign Disclosure Office and Intelligence Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional work experience in relevant technical/tactical field with regard to IED/C-IED and all source analysis.
Prior U.S. military experience working in explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) or civilian service as a Hazardous Device Technician with FBI Hazardous Devices School certification.
Working knowled of CEXC, WTI, C-IED, TEDAC and WTI lexicon.
Working relationships with JIDO, NGIC, DIA and I2WD.
Ability to brief at the flag and SES level.
Documented experience of the following C-IED specialties: Counter RCIED Electronic Warfare (CREW), Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE), Homemade Explosives (HME), Dismounted Operations in an IED Environment, C-IED Planning Considerations, Route Clearance Operations, Military Engineering, Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong, detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills.
Due to the nature of OCONUS travel, a Current U.S. passport is required
Ability to deploy or TDY for short periods of time worldwide.
10+ years of WTI/C-IED experience
Tactical Experience in an IED Environment
Experience using analytic software such as Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or JIDO’s (JIDA/JIEDDO) Attack the Network (AtN) Tools Suite (ANTS).
Must have a Bachelor's Degree
Must have activeDoD TS/SCI Security Clearance.
