HII-Mission Driven Innovative Solutions, Inc. (HII-MDIS)provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII-MDIS is currently seeking qualified candidates to support an upcoming anticipated contract. We are seeking to build a cadre of experienced and interested personnel to fulfill contract obligations upon award. HII-MDIS requests only applicants that meet job requisition requirements apply. HII-MDIS is currently seeking Task Managers to work out of the customer location in Northern Virginia.
The Task Manager (TM) is primarily responsible for acknowledging and coordinating the timely completion of all tasks, managing and monitoring the performance of personnel, delegating tasks to the appropriate personnel or teams, ensuring that personnel are trained and qualified to perform all functions, and scaling the number of personnel relative to the requirements. The TM shall utilize management tools and best practices to measure the productivity of operations. The TM shall provide daily administrative and workflow oversight of contractors to ensure the optimal functioning of their units.
In addition, the responsibilities also entail the following:
The TM shall establish and maintain close communication between the contractor personnel and the Sponsor's assigned Government Task Managers (GTMs).
The TM is responsible for compiling and providing to the GTMs operational reports that include information on the amount of work processed, status of open requests, personnel changes, risks, and issues.
The TM shall regularly meet with the GTM through face-to-face or virtual meetings. (The GTMs shall determine prioritization of all tasks.)
The TM or surrogates shall be available 24/7 for urgent needs of the customer, as specified by the Task Order.
At least 10 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager
Experience in the Intelligence Community
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience with multiple IC organizations
The TM shall not be required to have foreign language skills.
BA/BS Degree with either/or Foreign Affairs, Language, History, Economics, Journalism concentration
Familiarity with Open Source.
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Requirements for clearance level of TMs will be specified in the individual Task Order(s).
