HII – Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII – MDIS is currently seeking a PeopleSoft Functional SME to work out of their Reston, VA office.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Provide ERP subject matter expertise and implementation support.
Participate in work sessions with functional teams.
Facilitate requirements validation sessions, fit/gap, and design sessions with members of the project team, business process owners, and customer
Translate requirements and business process into a PS functional design with a focus on leveraging delivered capabilities and eliminating customization
Document future state business processes and functional design. Present designs for review and approval to the architecture team
Interact with technical team members, including articulating requirements and design
Create test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, requirements traceability matrices
Conduct system and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing
Provide functional support in defect resolution and retesting
Create user guides and coordinate completion of user guides with the technical writer
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience
In‐depth knowledge of core PeopleSoft HR v9.2, Knowledge of Global Payroll and Employee Reviews preferred
Demonstrated experience leading and conducting PS fit/gap sessions
Demonstrated experienced designing PS solutions for employee populations with complex rules
Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting business requirements, developing process flow diagrams, and creating functional designs to meet requirementsAbility to facilitate understanding of existing and new functionality, identification and resolution for areas where the client business process differs from the delivered PeopleSoft 9.2 functionalityWorking with the project team and customer to achieve consensus in identifying, determining, and recommending areas where customizations should be utilized or where customization can be eliminated
Experience with all phases of ERP application development including requirements analysis, fit/gap, design, development, test and deployment regression, parallel and user acceptance
Excellent communication skills including written and verbal. In addition, presentation delivery skills are required for requirements validation and fit/gap sessions and design presentations
Experience supporting at least one full life cycle PS implementation (strongly preferred)
Knowledge of military human resources processes (strongly preferred)
Ability to manage expectations under shifting and/or changing priorities
Must be able to work onsite in Reston, VA (some telecommuting allowed)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust clearance
