Overview

We are seeking aJ2 Ops MID Core Technical Leadto support our customer.

Summary:

The J2 OPS MID Core Technical Lead will serve as the single POC for the integration of intelligence and operations information and in the provision of reach back management support. This key person will ensure all products are quality controlled and meet Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203 and the JIDO RFS standards prior to delivering to government. They will be responsible for managing the 24 Hour Watch (SAR) which makes up the Combat Integration Support Team (CIST), all members of the Strategic Assessment Team, and the Current Intelligence Team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, direction and oversight to ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of the Daily and Weekly Intelligence Update for the JIDO J2 and Director

  • Prepare, monitor and update Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) documents

  • Maintain a 24/7 Watch manned with intelligence analysts fully capable of communicating with other commands and agencies.Analysts shall produce daily/weekly/monthly global slides for J2 and Director's Updates

  • Provide intelligence support as required to all working groups and analytical teams that support JIDO

  • Provide operationally relevant and timely operations-intelligence fusion, analytic support and training integration, including oversight of these activities, to enable Combatant Commanders to attack threat networks.

  • Provide direction and oversight to the CIST to ensure the effective SAR operation and management of tracking RFS production.

  • Perform quality assurance on RFS and other related and required intelligence products.

  • Ensure products and completed product elements are incorporated into JIDO’s repository infrastructure.

  • Produce strategic intelligence and fusion products that conform to organizational, community, intelligence oversight and regulatory requirements

  • Provide worldwide predictive analysis regarding I-threats and efforts to counter or defeat them

  • Respond to Requests for Support requirements including very short turn-around and high visibility intelligence support for Combatant Commands, other agencies as well as JIDO internal

  • Deliver and coordinate Global IED Report as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of experience as a military intelligence All Source or Irregular Warfare professional or a Master’s degree and 15+ years’ experience as a military intelligence all Source or Irregular Warfare professional

  • Must be a graduate of an Intelligence Community (IC) career field course, either through the military or through the IC Curriculum

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance

  • 10+ years of All Source Analysis experience in drafting intelligence products

  • 10+ years managing IC professionals; extensive leadership and mentoring experience required

  • Expert knowledge of the IC and all IC toolsets

  • Demonstrated experience with ICD 203 quality standards

  • Served as an intelligence professional in a deployed environment

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • 15+ years' work experience as an All Source Analyst in direct support of DoD or an intelligence agency focused on Irregular Warfare, Improvised threats, or COIN operations

  • 20+ years' experience as a military intelligence professional

  • Joint Improvised Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO), JIDA or JIEDDO experience

  • TS/SCI
