HII – MDIS is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to work on-site at Redstone Arsenal, AL, out of their Huntsville, AL office.

HII – Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Under general direction, candidate will employ administrative and technical skills to perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, system design, integration, documentation generation, and implementation of very complex applications.

  • Candidate will direct and participate in all phases of system development, with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E).

  • Candidate will apply higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very complex technical problems, to arrive at automated engineering solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required –

  • Ten (10) years of relevant and verifiable experience as a developer and/or analyst.

  • Familiarity with Python, R, and Tableau, or similar.

Preferred –

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience.

  • Direct experience as a senior level developer/analyst. • Demonstrable skills in Python, R, and Tableau.

Security:

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
