Huntington Ingalls Industries Cyber Budget Analyst in Quantico, Virginia
Cyber Budget Analyst to work onsite with customer and perform day-to-day activities as directed by the NCIS customer.
Develop, analyze, and execute budget requirements, as well as estimate future financial needs.
Working directly with Program Managers (PMs) and members of the National Security Directorate to develop complete and accurate Information Technology (IT) / Cyberspace Activities (CA) Budget requirements.
Meet with acquisitions to do procurement planning at least 6 months before planned purchases.
Input Priority Requisitions (PR) and ensuring all necessary documentation is filled out properly by requestor (i.e.. Sole source justification, brand name justification etc.).
Input all PRs in the budget tool ensuring funds are available, tracking funds and moving them as necessary.
Track licensing expiration dates to ensure purchases are done in time so there is no lapse in licenses.
Gather inputs for next FYs budget and ensure any additional/reoccurring costs are taken into consideration, entered, and considered as part of the PPBD.
Track technical/cyber refresh expenses for budgeting allocation.
Provide budget briefs to leadership.
Assist with market research and gather quotes for products.
Work with acquisitions office to ensure PRs for IT are forwarded with all necessary information needed for approvals.
Adhere to Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT) to ensure no lapse in services, while working closely with requirements owners on necessary documentation.
Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
Must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the NCIS mission and functions, organization, goals objectives, and anticipated programs.
5 years' experience in budget/finance.
In-depth, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint).
Ability to analyze, present, and communicate information effectively.
Ability to work well on a team and independently.
Education:Must have a Bachelor's Degree
Clearance Requirements:Must have active TS/SCI clearance
