We are seeking anInformation Management Support Technicianto supportthe UnitedStatesForcesKorea(USFK), Assistant ChiefofStaff,J2 (ACofS, J2) JIOC-K. Indirectly supports the production of timely intelligence to Commander,USFK andCombinedForcesCommand, the combinedbattlestaff,andwarfighter component commanders.
The JIOC-K's efforts focus ondetectingenemythreats,managing intelligence,Intelligence, Surveillance,andReconnaissance (ISR) activities,analyzingenemy actions andinformation todetermineenemy'sprobable courses of action.The overallanalyticeffort strengthensDefenseIntelligence and providesrelevant, timely,objective, and cogentallsourceDefense Intelligence to theCommanderand other users, and transformingtheaterintelligenceactivities tobetter leveragethecapabilitiesofthe theater andglobal intelligence communities and safeguardUnited Statespersonnelandinterestswithinthe Korea Theater ofOperations (KTO).

Tasksthatthe contractor shallperformincludebut arenot limited tothe following:
Provide Tier-1and Tier-2 level technical support to USFK J2 customers on NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIXS networks during normal daily operations, exercises, crisis situations, and wartime.
Create network accounts for newly arrived J2 customers.
Work with USFK J2 customers and the above mentioned Internet Service Provider (ISP) to resolve customer trouble tickets.
Provide remote and/or physical troubleshooting solutions for computer or operating system issues.·
Monitor and track all customer trouble tickets.
Submit trouble tickets on systemic network issues and work with the ISP to resolve these issues.
Work closely with other departments, agencies, ISPs to coordinate IT projects.
Coordinate with ISP for access to secure areas to install and troubleshoot network and associated equipment/software.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive list of all IT equipment and software owned and operated by J2 personnel.
Consolidate and maintain lifecycle information for all IT equipment and software items owned and operated by J2 personnel; recommend replacement solutions.
Install and configure IT systems for operational use.
Build and maintain a process for establishing and managing end user network and e-mail accounts for all information systems.
Ensure all J2 systems are compliant with system patches in accordance with the ISP.
Update and maintain diagrams depicting current J2 communications layouts, including all IT equipment as laid out on office and workspace floorplans.
Track all IT and IA-related training for J2 and manage Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) inputs, updates, and removals.
Serve as primary point of contact for J2 end users in scheduling maintenance-driven IT service interruptions with the ISP.
Assist in development of contingency procedures to facilitate recovery of IT capabilities at alternate operating locations.
Other duties may be assigned, as necessary
Familiar with Tier-1 and Tier-2 NIPR, SIPR, and CENTRIXS network technical support for USFK, US Army Pacific, and US Allies.
Capable of supporting daily operations, exercises, crisis situations, and wartime.
Capable of providing standard support for installations, accounts, troubleshooting, Internet operations, incident management, asset and configuration management, security management (STIGs, IA, IAVA/IAVMs, DIACAP/RMF), and COOP operations readiness.
Must maintain relevant DoDD-8570/4140 and Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) certifications
Experience with GCCS-I3 system on JWICS, StoneGhost, USBICES, and other SCI and Collateral networks
0 Years with Bachelors; An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a HS diploma may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree requirement for this job. This experience is in addition to the relevant years of experience listed with the job's education requirements.
Clearance: Must have TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly
Experience in Korean Theater of Operations in maintaining networks, systems, applications, and data integrity, availability, and context for continuous and accurate operations in and across multiple network domains
Demonstrated excellence in engineering and vigilance for maintaining operational military networks.
Experience working with INDOPACOM collection managers, sub-unified CCMDs, theater-deployed forward units, and TSOCs to design and automate the ISR Common Operating Picture (COP) visualization on JWICS, SIPRNET, StoneGhost, and CENTRIXS-K.
Mid-Level: Bachelor or master's degrees with 4-6yearsof experience, or, specialized training & 4-8 years-experience, or, equivalent academic experience.
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
Must have active TS/SCI clearance. CI Polygraph eligible.
