We are seeking anADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTto support Operational Services forthe UnitedStatesForcesKorea(USFK), Assistant ChiefofStaff,J2 (ACofS, J2) JIOC-K. Provide timely intelligence to Commander,USFK andCombinedForcesCommand, the combinedbattlestaff,andwarfighter component commanders.
The JIOC-K's efforts focus ondetectingenemythreats,managing intelligence,Intelligence, Surveillance,andReconnaissance (ISR) activities,analyzingenemy actions andinformation todetermineenemy'sprobable courses of action.
The overallanalyticeffort strengthensDefenseIntelligence and providesrelevant, timely,objective, and cogentallsourceDefense Intelligence to theCommanderand other users, and transformingtheaterintelligenceactivities tobetter leveragethecapabilitiesofthe theater andglobal intelligence communities and safeguardUnited Statespersonnelandinterestswithinthe Korea Theater ofOperations (KTO).
Tasksthatthe contractor shallperformincludebut arenot limited tothe following:
Coordinate,schedule, update andmaintaindirector and deputydirectordivision calendars,scheduleappointments, invitations, meetingsand
Receivevisitorsandtelephone calls,recommendaction to take or refer actionstothe governmentas
Draftandtype correspondence,forms,staff summary sheets,memorandum,memorandumfortherecord, information papers, facts sheets, pointpapers, decisionpapers, andmeeting
Ensuredecisions and actions requiring coordinationare properly staffed,concurred withand
Maintain recordsandfiles,in accordance with
Monitorand track civilian and military awards andrecognition, and security
PerformsIntelligence RFI ValidationOfficerfunctions to includereview,refinement,validation, assignment to appropriateinternal and external customers,monitoring,and
Maintain accesstoDefenseTravelSystem (DTS), and assumethe dutiesofaDTS reviewerof travel requests andclaims,conferences and nonDTS entry agent to recommendchangesas
Provide guidance and assistancetotravelers forpreparingauthorizations, local vouchers, vouchers and other travel documents; draft unavailable travelers' authorizations,localvouchers, travelvouchers,and other travel
Monitor for accuracy, update andsubmitchanges toUSFKJ2'sManpower,Manning and Personnel(MM&P)
Experience supporting military operations.
Able to surge support during two exercises per year.
Familiar with the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) for Korea
- Bachelor or master's degrees with 4-6yearsof experience, or, specialized training & 4-8 years-experience, or, equivalent academic experience.
- Must have active TS/SCI clearance. CI Polygraph eligible.
