HII – Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII – MDIS is currently seeking an Administrative and Customer Support Specialist / Learning Management System (LMS) / Talent Management System (TMS) Administrator in Orlando, FL.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Provide general administrative and technical support for an LMS/TMS. Apply communication, technical, and teamwork skills to support a variety of tasks required by ongoing contract activities, including:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving LMS/TMS help desk tickets to customers’ satisfaction

  • Responding to customer requests in a timely manner through clear, professional email communication

  • Creating and assigning courses and evaluations in the LMS/TMS, as well as recording, tracking, and reporting completions of these items

  • Formatting raw database data into meaningful reports for customers

  • Reviewing and testing products prior to deployment

  • Administering “proof-of-concept” scenarios in the LMS/TMS test environment to ensure proper administration in the live environment

  • Proofreading and suggesting improvements for reports, manuals, and other formal documents

  • Collaborating with the task leads to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and improvements to team processes

  • Creating job aids to assist users in following technical processes

Qualifications and Experience :

Required –

  • Bachelor’s degree; or associate degree with a minimum of 3 years administrative experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Demonstrated history of providing reliable customer service, producing well-written and properly formatted documents, and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and flexibility are essential to this position.

  • The successful candidate will be a highly-organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Experience in the use of databases and excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred –

  • A degree in communications or a related discipline is desirable. Previous experience as an LMS/TMS administrator is highly preferred.
