HII - MDIS is currently seeking a Cyber Warfare Tools Planner to work at Langley Air Force Base, VA.
Air Combat Command is charged with the Organize Train and Equip (OT&E) mission for the Combat Air Force community. ACC units and personnel need to train in complex tactical, operational and strategic level environments, under all potential threat and weather conditions, emulating potential contingency locations world-wide while integrating with composite, joint and coalition partners. This position will support the ACC/A35, Advanced Programs Office, with planning for the integration of future operations using special tactics, special capabilities and missions for ACC. This position will ensure future CONOPS are developed in a manner that will enable proper modeling/simulation and exercise validation events that take full advantage of modern fighter aircraft and other unique combat capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Assist ACC with the development of cyber warfighting tools to enable future concepts and plans
Directs weapon system and operation planning teams (OPT) in the development of concepts and plans supporting ACC requirements.
Supports the Global Force Management (GFM) Process, ACC Operational Planning Process (OPP), and MDMP to include, but not limited to, IO, EW, and Cyberspace Operations.
Provides feedback and guidance on Cyber Warfare tool development and requirements to ACC staff.
Support ACC and other MAJCOM processes and organizational cultures, direct interface to COIPE and other ACC planning staff.
Provide Government training specific to cyber weapon tools incorporating new equipment, systems and procedures. Update Government developed curriculum and plan and schedule training.
Document cyber Government requirements.
Develop, post, and maintain records of all reports in an appropriate electronic Government approved shared location.
Qualifications and Experience :
DoD 8570 IAM-II certification
Former Military Senior Enlisted, Officer or DoD Civilian with experience at the MAJCOM or above level
1 year of experience in a DoD Cyber related position
15+ Years with Bachelors or 13+ Years with Masters or HS diploma + 20+ years of relevant experience.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Graduate of the USAF Warfare Center Cyber School
Intermediate or Senior Service School In-Residence Attendee
5 years of experience as Cyber Warfighter or Cyber Planner
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
TS/SCI and Special Access Program Eligibility is required.
