HII - MDIS is currently seeking Cyber Training and Readiness Analyst SMEs to work out of their Joint Base office in San Antonio-Lackland, TX.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Provide oversight, guidance, and support for the command’s training and readiness program for 24th Air Force/AFCYBER. Establish or maintain command training and readiness program as needed in keeping with USAF, MAJCOM (ACC), and USCYBERCOM requirements to train and maintain a ready force. As needed, coordinate with exercise planners, assessors, and Stan/Eval SMEs. Plan, coordinate, and deconflict with USAF, ACC, USCYBERCOM, and other service cyber components as needed. Some travel will be necessary.
Support AFLCMC(WMS) cyber-security M&S-related efforts at 24 AF and other M&S-related issues with units in the San Antonio, TX area (e.g., Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency (AFISRA), AETC, and Randolph AFB) as required or even higher headquarters’ (USCYBERCOM, AFSPC, ACC) as needed.
Support Cyber Training Initiative (CTI) initiatives at USSTRATCOM (Offutt AFB, NE), LVC-OT efforts at DMOC-S (Schriever AFB, Colorado (CO), AFSPC (Peterson AFB, CO), and JSTF initiatives.
Collaborate with subject matter experts at 24th AF units, AFLCMC, USSTRATCOM, DMOC-S, ACC and the Intel Community.
Support the current and emerging individual, team, and unit certification processes for Air Force cyber teams in support of the commander’s priorities.
Qualifications and Experience :
Two (2) years of demonstrated experience in training and readiness programs of service cyber component (SCC) and/or USCYBERCOM-level experience.
Knowledge of USCYBERCOM Training and Readiness Manual, Joint Cyber Training & Certification Standards (JCT&CS), Joint Training Program (JTP), and the Joint Curriculum Lead (JCL). Familiar with training tracking programs such as Centropy, Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), or Patriot Excalibur (PEX).
Possess one of the following degrees AND/OR significant related equivalent practical military experience requirements: Associate of Science Degree in M&S, Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Systems, Network or Software), Computer Science or IT with at least 4 years of technical experience; a non-technical Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of technical experience; Bachelors of Science Degree or higher in M&S, Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Systems, Network or Software), Computer Science or IT with at 2 years of M&S technical experience; or 10 years of M&S technical experience.
Prior experience with USAF/Joint Cyber Operations, Training, and Exercise Planning. DoD 8140 (DoDD 8570.1M) IAM-III, IAT-III/IAT-II certified, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent desired. Project Management Professional (PMP) desired but not required.
Experience presenting material to senior Government officials and key stakeholders.
Knowledge of M&S/LVC Cyberspace Ranges and cyber techniques, tools, and exercises.
Experience planning, coordinating, executing, and participating in major exercises/events.
Experience performing staffing work at the NAF, MAJCOM, Combatant Command (CCMD), and Federal Agency/Bureau level or higher.
Related military MOS/training and industry/technical certifications such as SEC+, CEH, PMP, or CISSP.
