We are seeking aSenior All Source Analyst / Opportunity Analysis Synthesist/Designer to support our client.
Senior All Source Analyst who will serve as an Opportunity Analysis Synthesist/Designer supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) / Joint Improvised-threat Defeat Organization (JIDO). An Opportunity Analysis (OA) Synthesist/Designer works as part of an OA team responsible for examining relevant, real-world WMD threats and identifying possible cross-government activities to address them. The OA Synthesis will provide responsive, interdisciplinary and analytical capability involving broad, undefined complex issues of either a special or recurring nature. They research and analyze suspected problem areas; identify key variables or factors; develop practical and innovative solutions. To qualify as a Senior Analyst, the individual must have a Master's Degree and a minimum 10+ years' experience.
Apply in-depth intelligence analytic expertise to research and assemble intelligence and all-source threat information, blue/green information, relevant non-threat data (markets, futures, non-intelligence scientific and engineering facts, etc.) with an eye towards creation of opportunities for proactive operations to be conceived during that actual OA event.
Identify / inventory CWMD plans, strategies, programs, capabilities, activities, and operations of DoD, interagency, and partner nation organizations that have bearing on the OA topic.
Develop integrated visualizations of all-source information into Information Support Packages (ISPs) which are then iteratively shaped and curated to fulfill, inform or revise an OA design, and ultimately directly supports the OA execution.
Integrate and operationalize IT tools to facilitate interagency data sharing and collaboration on key WMD-related issues.
Work closely with DTRA/JD irregular warfare analysts to conduct multi-layered, multi-intelligence research and analysis in cooperation with subject matter experts, intelligence analysts to define and assess patterns of People, Places, Things and Networks (PPTN) activities for further illumination, potential exploitation, and the development of opportunities.
Discover keycorrelations allowing the design of vignettes to be used during the OA event.
Coordinate with IT specialists to integrate visualizations of all-source information that help to illuminate key nodes in WMD procurement/development pathways.
Participate in, or when appropriate, lead engagements with USG and international partners and stakeholders to gain first-hand knowledge of stakeholder activities and enblers having bearing on the OA topic.
Participate in the preparation and execution of formal and information briefings, including performing as a lead briefer, when appropriate.
Organizat resulting OA concepts into themes and sequences to form executiable options.
Research and mature sequences into viable decision-ready Operations, Activities and Investments (OAI), to support executable options, or shore up gaps in otherwise vialbe sequences.
Coordinate with SMEs to develop prioritized lists of R&D implications.
Coordinate with the Combatant Command and other stakeholders to identify non-material gaps, such as policy, access, information shortfalls, etc., to compel resolution.
Ability to deploy/travel for short periods of time worldwide

Formal training as an Intelligence Analyst
10+ years of experience as an all source analyst or as an OA Synthesis Designer
Knowleged of the Intelligence Community's (IC's) principle collection, analytical and production components
Knowledged of the organizations, structures, missions and responsibilities of the various elements of the IC to be able to effectively interact within the forum of government agencies focusing on intelligence and WMD issues
Proficient in research, analysis, critical thinking, design thinking and opportunity analysis
Comprehensive knowledge of analystical and evaluative tehcniques and methods
Skilled in developing written material, conducting briefings and leading discussions
Skilled in the area of data science
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Self-starting, outspoken, proactive, agile thinker with strong work ethic
Able to work well in dynamic team settings where dissent is encouraged for betterment of the approach and products
Comfortable in highly dynamic and changing environment
U.S. passport is required to deploy/travel for short periods of time worldwide
Skills in the area of geospatial information systems
Skills in the area of application development
Proficient in Design Thinking and Opportunity Analysis
15+ years of experience as an all source analyst
Knowledge of activities associated with worldwide WMD, counter proliferation and arms control issues
Knowledge of CWMD plans, programs, intelligence, doctrine and policy
Knowledge of current WMD threat and emerging WMD technologies
- Must have Master’s degree to qualify as senior; a bachelor's degree may be substituted for a lower labor category
- Must have active TS/SCI or active TS with SCI eligibility
