HII - MDIS is currently seeking a Military Analyst to support the Capability Development and Integration Directorate, TRADOC Capability Manager for Lift (TCM-LIFT) in Ft. Rucker, AL. The Military Analyst will support the TCM-LIFT Manager for all combat development user activities associated with current and future Cargo Aviation platforms, associated mission equipment and weapons systems.
Duties and Responsibilities (may include but not be limited to the following):
The Military Analyst will aid in monitoring organizational issues for units employing lift capabilities and implements and aid in recommending corrective actions for issues incurred. • On behalf of the TCM-LIFT manager, the Military Analyst will serve as the User advocate and counterpart to Cargo Helicopter Project Manager.
The Military Analyst will support the duties outlined in TRADOC Regulation 71-12, TRADOC System management.
The Military Analyst will provide support to the TCM-LIFT Manager to ensure all domains of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities are synchronized with the fielding of assigned capabilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
BA or BS Degree in a related field.
Rated Army Aviation Officer or Warrant Officer with 20 years’ operational experience; from tactical through strategic levels of the Army.
Fifteen (15) years’ experience in US Army Rotorcraft formations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to interface and brief at the Command Level.
Working knowledge of the DoD JCIDS process.
Successful completion of the Warrant Officer Staff Course.
Successful completion of the Aviation Warrant Officer Advanced Course.
15 years’ experience in US Army Aviation Operations, Logistics or Maintenance.
Must be able to travel as required
BA or BS Degree in Aviation Management.
Five (5) years’ experience working in Combat Capabilities Development.
Fifteen (15) years’ Aviation Operations experience in CH/MH-47 formations.
SME level understanding of JCIDS, CONOPS, CBA, Army & Joint Concepts, and Army concept framework.
Successful completion of the CGSC/ILE or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course.
Active DoD Security Clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
