HII – Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII - MDIS is currently seeking a Process Advisor IV to work onsite in Fort Detrick, Maryland.

The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities :

  • The contractor shall assist in setting program, portfoilio, and project level strategies, goals, and priorities, ensuring portfolios are mapped to program goals.

  • The contractor shall propose and implement solutions to critical problems by creating actionable strategies and implementation plans to reallocate resources or efforts as required, as well as oversight plans that use metrics for monitoring progress.

  • The contractor shall draft reports, to include executive summaries, manuscripts, and other technical documents.

  • The contractor shall provide technical expertise to support the design, development, procurement, commissioning installation, qualification, and validation of single use systems technologies in relation to biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • The contractor shall review and assess the IMS and contract Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for technical adequacy and completeness.

Qualifications and Experience :

Required –

  • Standard Requirement: The contractor shall possess a PhD in Engineering, Science, Systems Management, Business Management, or a related discipline, as well as ten (10) years of general experience and six (6) years of relevant experience.

  • Tradeoff Requirement: The contractor shall possess a Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Systems Management, Business Management, or a related discipline, as well as twelve (12) years of general experience and eight (8) years of relevant experience.

  • The contractor shall be capable of working independently and as part of a team.

  • The contractor shall possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.

  • The contractor shall be highly motivated, with great attention to detail and an ability to deliver fast results in a fast paced environment.

  • The contractor shall possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

Security :

  • Candidate must possess and be able to maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.

  • The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
