HII – MDIS is currently seeking a Transition Coordinator to support our customer.

The Transition Coordinator guides and directs the stand-up of contractor capabilities at a new OCONUS location. Identifies and secures required infrastructure, establishes logistics support, arranges and coordinates equipment movement, coordinates with Customer and on-site foreign national (FN) counterparts on infrastructure requirements, integrates and schedules activities with Customer and FN personnel, and a wide-range of other transition activities needed to establish a new OCONUS capability for the PMRO effort.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for all facets of the transition including transition meetings and plans,

  • Coordinate between technical teams, PM, and PMO to complete the transition on time with no service impact to customers.

  • Oversees all aspects of the program transition, from service delivery to IT Infrastructure systems and solution development as well as housing.

  • Ensures deliverables (narrative and statistical reports, invoices, procedural manuals, and customized reports) are completed, reviewed, and submitted on time. Provide intermittent updates throughout transition

  • Maintains communication on all aspects of the contract by meeting regularly with client and contract staff.

  • Requires short term travel to various locations and sites.

  • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary


Required -

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Possess excellent time management, communication, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point).

  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management

  • Possess the ability to drive the transition process while fostering a team environment.

  • Possess conflict resolution skills.

  • Be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations.

  • Must be willing to travel internationally

  • 10 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 8 Years relevant experience with Masters; An additional 4 years of specific job experience with a HS diploma may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree requirement for this job.

  • Clearance: Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance

Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree desired.
