HII – Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII - MDIS is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to work out of their Fairfax, VA office.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), as well as corporate policies and procedures with regard to cost proposal preparation, review, approval and, submission

  • Develop pricing models and cost/price analysis for proposal efforts, consistent with solicitation requirements

  • Manage cost inputs from multiple sources in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment

  • Preparing pricing reviews to upper management for review and approvals

  • Work closely with Contracts, Subcontracts, Operations teams, and other functional support organizations to ensure the cost/price proposal is compliant, accurate, competitive and profitable.

  • Analyze vital cost metrics to determine the viability of various pricing approaches

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field

  • 0-3 years of professional experience supporting pricing, finance, data analysis, program control, or similar functions

  • Use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong proficiency in Excel

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and reasoning skills

  • Ability to communicate and interact well with all levels of the organization

  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere


  • Develop, coordinate, analyze, and prepare price proposals and supporting documentation in accordance with solicitation requirements, Government regulation, and corporate policies.

  • Some experience with working on different government contract types, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, LH, BPA, and IDIQ

  • Knowledge of the FAR, DFAR & CAS
