Expert Geolocation Operator

HII - Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical services to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, National Security, Aerospace & Defense, and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII-MDIS is currently seeking geolocation operators interested in working in a dynamic operations environment supporting tactical and strategic customers. The ideal candidates will have in-depth collection operations experience with airborne platforms. This opportunity will support 24/7 operations in Augusta, GA. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment working with peers to support a critical mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, refines, and produces geolocation data as input to various reporting vehicles;

  • Performs real-time collection of varied communications and conducts geolocation operations using a variety of techniques;

  • Analyzes raw data across multiple databases and independently identifies complex correlations to develop findings into actionable reports for consumption.

  • Performs in a mentor capacity for junior operators.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Seven (7) years’ relevant military or professional experience in the last ten (10) years;

  • Formal training in one of the following foreign languages:Arabic (Levantine, Yemeni, Iraqi, Maghrabi dialects), Persian Farsi, Pashto, Russian, Chechen or Somali;

  • Multiple customer-specific certifications are required for this position;

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to systems and software;

  • Effectively communicate through both textual and graphical constructs;

  • Availability to do shift work.


  • Possess relevant armed services or Agency training, and/or coursework;

  • Familiarity with current technology and methodologies.


  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required for all positions.

  • The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
