Huntington Ingalls Industries - Mission Driven Innovative Solutions Inc. (HII-MDIS) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.
HII-MDIS is currently seeking Non-Intrusive Inspection System (NIIS) Support Personnel 2 / Office Manager to work in Abingdon, MD.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
The NIIS Support Personnel is responsible for administrative support as needed for for the NIIS program.
Handle administrative requests from the Program Management Office
Organize and schedule program meetings
Research parts and classify them in the internal system
Support administrative requirements of the logistics team
Oversee the Abingdon Office operations to include: stocking supplies, manning the front entrance during office hours, providing shipping support to the office staff, coordinate with leasing office as required, manage office purchases, and any other office management requirements that may occur.
Qualifications and Experience:
Associate's Degree and 2 years experience
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Expert in Microsoft Office Suite
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen
Experience with Army logistics
U.S. Military service veteran or experience working with the U.S. military and interfacing directly with uniformed military personnel, understanding military protocol and Chain of Command.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level clearance
